Manage Student Program Participation

Manage Student Program Participation

Summary Tracking Program Participation

A Mileposts program can be configured to be Summary Tracking for participation. This means that a student's participation in the program is determined by the district's student information system (SIS) and is restricted to either in (participating) the program or not. Summary Tracking programs are not intended to provide additional program-related information, such as; district-defined fields (or user-defined fields, UDFs), status monitors, or program reviews. Therefore, in the application a user will see less functionality in a Summary Tracking program and will not be required to manage student participation.

Detail Tracking Program Participation

A Detail Tracking program is configured to provide a district the ability to manage student participation in the program, program-specific UDFs, status monitors, and program reviews. As a primary feature in Mileposts, detail tracking programs can be configured to match how a district prefers to manage local, state, and federal programs.
