Assigning Professional Development
As an administrator Professional Development can be assigned in Teacher Vitae. There are two ways to assign Professional Development.
Manage Course Assignments
Manage Package Assignments
Login to Teacher Vitae
Hover over More
Manage Course Assignments
Select the School Year
This defaults to the current year
Select the Organization
Select the school
Click +Add Course Assignment
Select School Year
Click the dropdown arrow
Select from the list provided
Select the Course
Click the dropdown arrow
Select from the list provided
Set the Due Date
Use the Calendar Icon
OR
Type the date in the field
Click Next
Select Organizational Unit
Click the dropdown arrow
Select school from list provided
Select the Individuals
Click the checkbox next to the staff to assign the course
Click Next
This is a summary of what you are about to assign
Click Submit
Login to Teacher Vitae
Hover over More
Manage Package Assignments
Select the School Year
This defaults to the current year
Select the Organization
Select the school
Click +Manage Package
Select a Package
Click the dropdown arrow
Select the Package from the list provided
Click Next
Select the Evaluator
Click the dropdown arrow
Select from list provided
Select Reviewers (optional)
Start typing in the blank field
Select from the list that begins to populate
This step is optional most districts don’t use this function
Click Next
Double check the Due Dates for the Courses included in the Package
Click Next
Select the Individuals
Check the checkboxes of the staff members that you wish to assign the package
Click Next
Review the Package details before submitting.
Click Submit
