Locate and manage WIDA Can Do Descriptors
The WIDA Can Do Descriptors are located in some student plans.
First, enter the student e-file of the student you want to copy the plan from.
Click on the student search link in the upper right hand corner. Enter the student name in the search field and then click the small arrow to search.
Click on the student name to enter their e-file.
Once in the e-file, click on the Educational Support tab. The WIDA indicators are in the Silverback ELA Plan template. Scroll down to the ELP plan (or whatever plan you have with these indicators in them) - click on the current school year to enter the plan (or the plan name if it is not an annual plan).
Scroll down in the plan to the Can Do Descriptors section - click on Manage Can Do Descriptors.
Select the appropriate statements for both the basis and the goals in each language domain. Click Save.
