Google Translate


Google Translate is available in EdAssess for students in the testing tunnel. Google Translate is off default and needs to be activated for individual students to be used.


Activate Google Translate for individual students

NOTE: The assessment needs to be created, published and assigned before the following can be done.


  1. Login to EdAssess

  2. Navigate to Assessment page

  3. Find the Assessment 

  4. Choose Assessment

  1. Locate the Translate checkbox on the table of students in the Actions Column on the far right 

  2. Click the Translate Checkbox for all students needing Google Translate.


Switch Between English and Spanish


  1. Have student login

  2. Have student start the assessment

  1. If the student has been granted access to Google Translate the tool is visible in the upper right corner.

  2. Click The Dropdown Arrow

  3. Click Spanish


Now the assessment has been translated to Spanish. To switch back do the following.


  1. At the top right of the screen

  2. Click Show Original


The Assessment is reverted back to English
