Forgot Password Reset Not Working

There are several reasons that you may experience this problem.
The forgot password feature will attempt to send an email to the email address on record for the specified user that you entered.
This may fail for any of the following reasons:

  1. The username that you entered was incorrect and we could not find a matching user in our database (usernames are your district full email address, (Name@District.66.k12.id.us
  2. The email associated with the username is incorrect and therefore the email delivery failed.
  3. Your district has a content (email) filtering that is blocking emails from Silverback Learning Solutions.
  4. Your email client thinks the email is spam and moves it to your spam (junk) folder
  5. **Passwords must be between 8 and 100 characters long, contain at least one number, one uppercase letter, or one special character (!@#$%^&+= _*-). Space characters are not allowed at the beginning or end.


The forgot password feature sends the email notifications for password resets from support@silverbacklearning.com.


Please ensure with your tech department that emails from support@silverbacklearning.com are not getting blocked.

If you have verified that the four items listed are not causing the problem in your district please fill out a support ticket and we will investigate the situation.
