Copy Function in Form Builder

Coping forms can be very powerful. You can take a form that you have been using for years and add functionality to it by, copying it and altering it, thus creating a new form. You can also take one of our premade templates, copying it and altering it to make it the perfect form for your district without recreating the wheel from scratch. The following steps will walk you through the process.


Note: To copy a form the form must be set to Allow Copy in the properties (see step 10).


  1. Login to Teacher Vitae

  2. Navigate to Manage forms

    1. Hover over More 

    2. Click Admin

                     3. Click Manage Forms

  1. Choose the form you wish to copy

    1. From Manage Forms list 

Or

                   2.From Display Templates

       4. Click Copy

       5. Name your new form

       6. Copy Tags from old form

       7. Click Copy

  1. Find your new form in your Manage Form list

  2. Click Edit to open form and start altering you new form.

  3. If you don’t want your new form to be copied you need to uncheck the Allow Copy Checkbox. Copying is allowed by default.
