Controlling Audio File Playback Speed through Assessment Assignments
Some questions particularly in the K and 1st grade, have audio files associated with the question. Teachers or administrators can choose a couple of settings when assigning the assessment to either:
Have the audio file slowed down automatically. (useful for K students or ELL students) or
Provide the students with controls to slow down or speed up the audio files.
When assigning the assessment - you will see the additional 2 items as shown below:
Checking the first item “Slow playback speed” - slows the audio files automatically for the students.
Checking the second item “Display playback speed controls” provides the students with up and down arrows that allow them to control the playback speed.
Note: you can select both options if you want.
